THE Real Story OF HOW WE REALLY GOT Together
We first met in 2014 during boarding school in Canada through high school choir - despite both of us being from Hong Kong, our paths had not crossed until then. By becoming classmates, walking buddies to our boarding houses, and prom dates, a friendship started to grow that was always genuine, true and fun.
After high school, we both ended up at the University of Toronto - completely unplanned. Over the years, our friendship only grew deeper between study groups, late night chats, drinks, and countless moments of showing up for each other.
To most, it was clear that we were falling for each other, even if we weren’t quite ready to admit it . We’d consistently find excuses to meet up, walk each other home, and always be around when it mattered.
We quickly became each other’s safe place - someone to count on no matter what - even though we were hesitant to admit how much we meant to one another.
After four years since meeting in high school, we finally started dating in November 2018 - and we’ve been writing the rest of our story together ever since. In July 2024, through a decade of knowing each other and six years of dating, we got engaged in Cancun, Mexico - the same place we took our very first vacation together. It was the perfect moment to a story that started with a high school dance invite, many late night talks, and a friendship that quietly turned into everything.
Now, it’s with so much joy that we invite you to witness our promise of forever on December 13, 2025 at the Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club.
